Trupanion offers the most complete pet health insurance coverage for unexpected illnesses and accidents. If an insured pet becomes sick or injured, Trupanion will pay 90% (excluding vet exam fee) of the actual cost of diagnostic tests, surgeries, and medications - including coverage for hereditary & congenital disorders with no limit per claim, per illness, per year, or per category. Trupanion offers a generous lifetime limit of $20,000 that 99.9% of its enrolled pet owners have never reached.

PurinaCare offers several plans.  Our two most popular plans cover most injuries and illnesses, including those caused by hereditary conditions. PurinaCare^® plus Preventive Care also covers most routine medical procedures, including annual exams, vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventives, and dental scaling/polishing. There’s one deductible per year, not per incident, and with PurinaCare^® plus Preventive Care, routine preventive care counts toward your deductible. With Pets Best, you can use any veterinarian, anywhere in the world for your pet. If your cat needs chemotherapy and radiation for cancer treatment, it's covered. We also provide benefits for alternative treatments, including acupuncture and chiropractic therapy, administered by a licensed veterinarian. Experience an after-hours emergency? That’s covered, too

Pets Best has no networks; we have no rules telling you or your veterinarian what procedures are eligible.  Our role is to help you pay for the cost of the best veterinary care available.

There are, of course, some exclusions. But we only list the few things we don't cover, rather than the hundreds of things we do. If it's not listed as an exclusion in your policy, it's covered.
