March 2010 - "Max" Bird

Max was adopted into his family 5 1/2 years ago where's he's been king of the castle ever since.

Max was born and raised in Los Angeles but has been a Nor Cal dog for the past two years when his family moved to Belmont. Max was named for having maximum personality packed into his tiny body. He thinks he's 6ft tall and 3ft wide when in reality Max is just about 8lbs! At almost 6 years old this little warriors favorite things haven't changed...

Rubber squeaky toys, cuddling with mom and dad, sun bathing, walks, and rubber squeaky toys!!! He is extremely smart, understanding an estimated over 300 words! Max is "The Protector" so when it came down to protecting him, no one else was to be trusted but Dr. Haddad and her team at the San Carlos Pet Hospital. Max has lost over a pound and had 12 teeth extracted to keep him in prime fighting condition. We are all very proud of Max for once again acting like such a Big Brave Dude!
